How I Help You Have an Experience of Change

An Itching Desire for Change

You’re afraid you’ll end up with a life full of regret and disappointment.

There’s persistent dread that you’ll reach a certain point in your life, look back and say, “I haven’t accomplished anything worthwhile. My life didn’t matter. I wish I had.”

Or reach an early or middle stage of your life, look forward and say, “I wish I could.”

Perpetually dissatisfied with your work and in your relationships, you know there must be more to life than this.

The Many Layers of Dissatisfaction

Your timeline is dotted with wounds from the past, and you can feel the effects every minute of every day. Losses over the years peek through your mind and show up as anxiety.

Powerlessness is a major theme preventing you from embracing life fully. Perhaps that’s because of disparaging beliefs influenced by early growing-up experiences.

Emotional baggage disguises itself in physical symptoms, causing pain and fatigue.

Standing Up

It takes courage to admit what you don’t want to look at or feel – to acknowledge your limitations or those of others, and to ask for help.

The very next step is to find the right person to share the sensitive details of your story with, someone to trust, and someone who is experienced enough to guide your healing.

I can be that person for you.

You’ve felt stuck for a while now and can’t resolve it on your own.

We can work through whatever exists in your under-layer and build from there. You don’t have to stay in this place.

Using a cutting-edge, evidence-based modality called Eidetics, we will uncover the root cause of your problems, reveal the obstructions in your life, and highlight long-lasting solutions that work toward your desired goals.

Create a Vision of a New Future

Our process will support you to feel more inner strength. We will amplify your resilience with new tools, positive emotions, and less reactivity.

Clear, new perceptions and beliefs will illuminate your life. You will come to realize hidden potentials.

About me

I believe you are here to live fully with love sprinkled in joy and satisfaction…

… to find enrichment and meaning,

… to feel a sense of well-being,

… and to share your genetic abilities with the world.

My story

I was a successful interior designer for 20 years and got the bug for personal growth groups in the human development movements of the late ’80s.

Never before had I been in such large groups where people shared feelings with such honesty and awareness.

It was nurturing to my soul to discover another part of myself others were interested in. That was it – I wanted to be a therapist and do that, lead groups.

Everyone said it was not right for me. I wouldn’t have any of it! I had the encouragement of one therapist who believed in me and an unstoppable determination.

Never give up searching.

During this search, I landed my first job, which could not have been a better environment – a medical psych hospital.

The groups became a stage for me to be creative and provide something uniquely experiential for the patients. I was in my element! These patients had extreme physical problems as well as mental and emotional ailments.

But I started to become discouraged.

It was disheartening knowing my level of training was not adequate to address all the concerns. I couldn’t bear seeing the poor quality of life that many had.

The image is so clear in my mind – seeing myself on my knees, asking for forgiveness for not doing more, and begging for a better direction.

I extended the search for more holistic modalities to serve better and began a deep and broad spiritual exploration.

And then the unthinkable happened…

I worked in psych hospitals off and on for 16 years while maintaining my own office, seeing people privately.

Too many hours at the hospitals and unrecognized mold intoxication in my AC sent me to the Chronic Fatigue Syndrome rosters.

I continued to work until one day I called all the patients in the hospital group by the wrong names. I said it wouldn’t happen, but it did – the unthinkable. I developed cognitive impairment.

Every barrier placed in front of you is simply a stepping stone to the next part of your life, opening new opportunities and a new journey. They make you who you become.

I became disabled, but not disheartened.

A few people closest to me did not believe I was ill. Some hospital staff were dismissing their patients coming in with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome as depression.

Syndromes don’t count. Being misunderstood and invalidated was worse than the illness itself.

As a result, I became an advocate for myself, for my clients, and many of the hospital patients. I knew what it was like to feel fragile in the mind and body. It made me a humbler and more empathic helping professional.

I was running out of options, but kept searching for help.

I had alternative practitioners, healers, caregivers, spiritual teachers, friends, family, all trying to help, but I needed someone to hear me and understand my experience from a holistic perspective.

Once the lights came on, I contacted Dr. Akhter Ahsen, pioneer of Image Psychology and Eidetics, who I had met in a few trainings and with whom I had previously done intensive personal work.

“The wound is the place where the Light enters You” – Rumi

Rays of Light had been piercing through my wounds all along…

I spent over 15 glorious years training with a man that changed my paradigm, altered my world view, improved my way of helping others, and saved my life.

I went from disability to ability as a result of Eidetics and continue to help others in the same way.

I am thriving in my life now, and I can offer you the same opportunity.

When I’m not working, I can be found in classes on spirituality, Texas native-plant landscaping, or permaculture.

If I’m not doing any of those activities, I’m cooking Indian food or harvesting fruit from my backyard orchard, or roaming the parks and museums.

My mission is grander than when I first started!

I aim to bring a better quality of life to those who have lost hope. I strive to save you the time and resources devoured by years of struggle.

Everyone deserves the best possible life!

Let’s get to know each other.

I can help you overcome the obstacles you’re facing.

You can create a new vision of your future today.
